NEW THIS YEAR

Poster Presentations

New for 2026, the PCTM Annual Conference will include a "Classroom Connections" Poster Session for teachers to showcase what's working in their classrooms! The poster session is designed to celebrate the everyday magic happening in math classrooms across the region in a more laid back, informal setting than a full presentation. No idea is too small, PCTM wants it all!

What does the poster session entail?
  • Set up a table on the afternoon of Aug. 5 with a visual (poster, easel, trifold, etc) and any tools, student work, or other resources to showcase your *thing!*
  • Talk to teachers who informally stop by your table (no formal presentation, just conversation!)
  • That's it!
How will teachers be selected?
  1. Practical classroom implementation - Something you're actively using with students
  2. Clear benefit to student learning - Even small wins count!
  3. Replicability - Other teachers could try this in their own classrooms, even better if you have resources to share
  4. Diversity of representation - We're aiming for variety in grade levels, topics, and approaches
Anything else I should know?
  • Discounted Entry: Receive a discount on your 2026 conference registration
  • Bring your administrator for free! Your principal(s) and/or superintendent are welcome to walk through the poster sessions, visit the vendors, and stay for the last breakout sessions free of charge!
  • Application Deadline: March 31, 2026
  • Notification: By April 17, 2026
  • Selection Method: Rolling review with final selection ensuring diverse representation across K-12 grade levels and mathematical topics
  • Teachers Only: Company representatives, IU specialists, consultants, etc will not be considered.
  • Backup List: We'll maintain a waitlist in case spots open
